One species of leaf frog is Phyllomedusa bicolor, also known as the big leaf frog, bicolor tree-frog, huge monkey frog, or waxy-monkey treefrog. It is found in the Guianan Region of Venezuela and the Guianas, the Cerrado region of the Brazilian state of Maranhão, and the Amazon basins of Brazil, Colombia (Amazonas), Bolivia, and Peru.
The length of the nose and vent is 91–103 mm (3.6–4.1 in) for males and 111–119 mm (4.4–4.7 in) for females. The belly is white to yellow-white or cream, while the dorsum is lime green.
