Introducing our stunning Translucent Citrus Bearded Dragon, a captivating male morph that combines the vibrant citrus hues of the Citrus line with the ethereal shimmer of the Translucent gene. As a hatchling, he has a light bluish belly and deep black eyes; as he grows, the translucency softens, but his citrus tones remain stunning and energetic.

• Translucent: A recessive trait that causes juveniles to seem see-through, with solid black eyes and blue-toned undersides that fade with age.
• Citrus: A bright yellow-to-orange base hue, sometimes with reddish stripes or tiger-like patterning—visually striking but genetically typical.
• Sex: Male
• Size: Juvenile stage; expected to reach 18-24″ as an adult.
• Coloration: Bright citrus body tones; transparent quality may lessen with time.
• Eyes: Dark, perhaps solid black as a juvenile (typical of Transmorphs).

Temperament and Care

• Generally placid and simple to handle—suitable for both novice and experienced keepers.
• For optimal results, a 40-gallon tank with UVB illumination and a temperature gradient of 95-110 F (35-43 °C) and 75-85 F (24-29 °C) is recommended.
• Diet: A healthy mix of gut-loaded insects (e.g., crickets, dubia roaches), leafy greens (collard, mustard), and the odd fruit treat. Calcium supplements are indicated.
• Reptile carpet or tile are safe substrate alternatives, however loose surfaces like sand should be avoided to minimize impaction.
