Originating in Central and South America, the Monkey Anole (Polychrus gutturosus) is a rare, long-bodied, highly arboreal lizard. For serious keepers who value a distinctive display reptile with intriguing behavior, this species—dubbed the “Monkey Anole” for its prehensile tail and climbing agility—is a true delight.
