An uncommon, high-contrast variation of the Cuban Knight Anole, the Axanthic Blue Anole (Anolis equestris) is valued for its icy-blue, axanthic coloring and striking appearance. These are among the most unusual anoles found in the reptile trade because of their subdued gray-blue coloring and subtle patterning, which set them apart from their typical green relatives.
