Liability & Risk

  • Order at Your Own Risk: We are not responsible for the actions of any animal you purchase.
  • Indemnification: If you or anyone else is bitten, stung, scratched, or physically harmed by an animal, it is your sole responsibility. You agree to hold Reptile Harbour harmless from any liability once the animal has shipped.
  • Legal Responsibility: You are responsible for researching and following all federal, state, and local laws regarding animal ownership in your area.

Ordering & Payments

  • No Minimum Order: There are no minimum order requirements, though we reserve the right to limit orders based on applicable laws.
  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order.
  • Payment Authorization: By placing an order, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment provider. We reserve the right to correct payment errors even after a request or receipt of funds.
  • Sales Tax: Orders shipped to California will automatically include state sales tax. Other states are currently tax-free, subject to change.

Animal Specifics

  • Sexing Disclaimer: We cannot 100% guarantee the sex/gender of any animal, especially hatchlings and juveniles. While we use decades of experience to be as accurate as possible, these selections are not guaranteed.
  • Representative Photos: The images on our site represent the species, not the exact individual you will receive. Stock moves quickly, so your animal may not look identical to the photo.
  • No Holds: We do not offer animal holds or layaway services.

Special Regulations (Turtles & Tortoises)

  • 4-Inch Law: Per Federal Law (21 CFR 1240.62), turtles and tortoises with a carapace length of less than four inches are sold for bona fide scientific, educational, or exhibition purposes only, and not as pets.
  • Acknowledgement: You must acknowledge and adhere to this regulation during checkout to complete your purchase.
