• Closed Facility Security: All live animals, habitats, and biological stock listed on this website are housed, managed, bred, and shipped from our private, high-security breeding facilities. To maintain strict biosecurity and prevent the introduction of outside pathogens, we do not operate a public retail storefront or a walk-in pet shop at this address. All orders must be placed online and processed through our specialized, overnight temperature-controlled shipping network.

2. Liability & Risk

• Order at Your Own Risk: Reptile Harbour is not responsible for the natural behaviors, temperaments, or future actions of any animal you purchase.
• Indemnification: If you, a family member, or any third party is bitten, stung, scratched, constricted, or physically harmed in any way by an animal purchased from our site, it is your sole financial and medical responsibility. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Reptile Harbour and its staff harmless from any and all liability once the animal has left our facility.
• Legal Responsibility: It is the buyer’s strict responsibility to research, understand, and obey all federal, state, county, and municipal laws regarding exotic animal ownership in your specific area.

3. Ordering & Payments

• No Minimum Order: There are no minimum order monetary requirements, though we reserve the right to limit or cancel quantities ordered based on wildlife regulations or stock health.
• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase any live animal or product from this website. By checking out, you verify that you meet this age requirement.
• Payment Authorization: By completing an order, you authorize us to charge your chosen credit card or payment provider. We reserve the right to correct billing errors, adjust totals, or cancel fraudulent transactions even after a receipt or request for funds has been issued.
• Sales Tax: Orders processed and shipped to destinations within California will automatically include standard state sales tax at checkout. Other states are currently processed tax-free, subject to change based on federal interstate commerce guidelines.

4. Animal Specifics & Disclaimers

• Sexing Disclaimer: We cannot 100% guarantee the sex or gender of any live animal, especially hatchlings, neonates, and juveniles. While we utilize decades of collective husbandry experience to be as accurate as possible, these visual evaluations are accurate estimations and do not constitute a legal guarantee.
• Representative Photos: Unless explicitly labeled as “Exact Animal Pictured,” the photos on our website represent a clean visual example of the species, morph, and size tier, not the exact individual animal you will receive. Stock moves very quickly, so your individual animal’s colors and patterns may vary slightly from the stock image.
• No Customer Holds: To ensure consistent care routines and stable inventory management, we do not offer custom animal holds, deposits, or layaway services (except for carrier-enforced Weather Holds).

5. Special Regulations (Turtles & Tortoises)

• The 4-Inch Federal Law: In strict accordance with U.S. Federal Law (21 CFR 1240.62), turtles and tortoises with a carapace (shell) length of less than four inches are sold exclusively for bona fide scientific, educational, research, or exhibition purposes, and are absolutely not sold as domestic pets.
